Well folks... We've gone from the President brushing off COVID 19 as no big deal to advocating for a universal basic income style economic stimulus package. President Trump has announced his support for a plan to give Americans money directly to help float them through the crisis. The white house is also planning on allowing citizens to delay paying their taxes for an extra 90 days.
Public schools in Florida are closed until April 15th. Restaurants are also ordered to be at half capacity across the state. Clubs and bars are closed. Gatherings of more than 10 are discouraged.
4 students at UF have been confirmed to have contracted COVID 19. The university will have all online classes through the spring.
