Coffee is amazing, but for a lot of people, the bitter flavor needs to be masked with cream and sugar. Unfortunately, coffee might also become harder to come by in the future thanks to human and environmental factors. This is why several food scientists have created coffee without the coffee bean.
They call their coffee “Atomo,” and it’s made out of other foods with similar profiles. The result is a coffee without the bitter taste.
Atomo’s only problem now is finding a market for alternative coffee.
