If you watched ESPN's "College GameDay" this weekend, there was a college kid in the background with a sign asking people to Venmo him beer money. And believe it or not, it worked!
He raised over $5,000 in donations.
However, instead of throwing a party, he's donating all the money to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, with the exception of enough money to buy one case of beer for himself.
