Facebook's Privacy Failures Could Result In A $5 Billion Fine

Facebook’s reputation has been a little shaky lately as a result of their privacy practices.

The FCC is currently investigating those privacy practices, and there’s a chance Facebook may face the largest fine ever handed to a US tech company. Facebook has set aside $3 billion dollars, but could be charged up to $5 billion.

If it is found that Facebook broke a legal agreement about keeping user's data, the company will be handed the fine.
