Fitbit Acquired By Google For $2.1 Billion

Google has officially acquired Fitbit for $2.1B.

The tech giant has shown interesting in wearables, previously buying smartwatch related property from Fossil. Now it seems they’re diving in, as Fitbit is a well known brand that will surely improve what Google already has and vice versa.

The acquisition will be completed next year.
