Florida Man Arrested After Spending COVID Aid On A Lamborghini

Florida

Florida-man David T. Hines accepted an almost $4 million loan from the federal Paycheck Protection Program to help pay his employees. Instead, it only took him a week to purchase a blue Lamborghini, go on shopping sprees, and stay in swanky hotels.

Hines alleged fraud was quickly noticed. The businesses he listed on the loan application produced no results online, and state and bank records show a conflicting story about his payroll, which is little to none.

He was arrested on Monday.
