Over in Fort Lauderdale, police offices captured an escaped kangaroo named Jack. No, this kangaroo did not belong to a zoo.
Jack's owner, Anthony Macias, says that the animal must have punched his way through the gate keeping him in. Police did not give the Jack back to the Macias, saying Fort Lauderdale isn’t zoned for kangaroos.
While it's uncertain of where Jack with ultimately end up, Marcias has a friend in Palm Beach County, where kangaroos are welcome.
