Scientists at the University of Oxford have discovered genes linked to left-handedness.
The genetic regions that make up left-handedness also influence brain structure and development. Because of this, if you’re 1 of the 10% of people who’s left-handed, you might have an advantage with language skills.
Left-handed people also have a greater chance of developing schizophrenia than right-handers. On the other side, there are more right-handed people with Parkinson's. This in no way means you'll have either of these conditions; it's only a correlation.
