By now, you might have heard about the $120,000 banana taped to a wall in a Miami art exhibit.
The fast food chain Popeye’s has joined in on this artform, taping a chicken sandwich to a canvas. They call this piece, “The Sandwich,” and it’s listed at over $120,000. If sold, the profits will go to the Popeye’s Foundation, which “helps communities with food and support in times of need.”
The piece made its way to the San Paul Gallery Urban Art display, and it has at least one interested buyer.
