The first ever food to be baked from raw ingredients are space-cookies!
Last month, astronauts in the International Space Station baked chocolate chip cookies in an experimental oven. The cookies look alright, but it took them two hours to bake, and they didn’t even get to eat them.
After baking the cookies, the ISS froze them and sent them crashing down back to Earth in a SpaceX capsule. They must be tested for safety before astronauts go dunking the sugary dessert into space-milk.
