Colorado State University researchers believe they’ve found the world’s cleanest air.
This location is in the Southern Ocean surrounding Antarctica. After some tests, the researchers discovered that the atmospheric region was completely free of particles caused by human activity–stuff like burning fossil fuels, fertilizer and wastewater.
In contrast, most of the world suffers from air pollution. The World Health Organization claims that 7 million people actually die from air pollution each year.
