Over the weekend, the war movie 1917 managed to kick Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker out of the top spot, debuting with $36.5 million.
Star Wars came in second with $15 million. The Rise of Skywalker has now amassed around $990 million, inching close to the $1 billion milestone.
In third was Jumanji: The Next Level, earning another $14 million.
