Over the weekend, Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) smashed the box office, debuting on top with $33 million domestically. That’s not a huge number for a comic book film these days, but given DC’s track record, it’s an understandable one. Birds of Prey is reviewing pretty well if you’re still interested in seeing it.
Bad Boys For Life was bumped down to #2 with $12 million.
Placing third was 1917, earning another $9.
