White Castle, the first fast food hamburger chain in the world, is considering putting burger flipping robots in the kitchens.
The robot, called Flippy and developed by Miso Robotics, would work on a rail system installed over a griddle flat top and oil fryer. Flippy is currently being tested, with White Castle hoping it will reduce food waste and customer wait times.
Flippy might be cooking up sliders in September at one not yet announced White Castle location.
