For anyone unfortunate to be awake during brain surgery, neuroscientists have devised a way to keep you stress free during the experience.
There is a pathway in the brain called the cingulum bundle, and when stimulated, causes you to feel good and even laugh. After the initial research, some neuroscientists believe this new technique could be used for awake brain surgery patients.
This new technique is also predicted to help improve the lives of those suffering with anxiety, depression, and pain.
